Joining the panel is Diego Cortese, Vice President - Venue Commercial at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the Middle East’s largest exhibition and convention center. With over 23 years of experience, Diego oversees 2,000+ annual events, including the Dubai Airshow and Formula 1, and leads commercial strategies that position DWTC as a global business hub.
Additionally, Diego serves as a member of: - DWTC Management Committee (since 2013)
- Representative of DWTCA within the Dubai Free Zones Council (2016-19)
- Board Member of DV Global Link (2014-19), a joint venture between DWTC and the Italian Exhibition Group, organizing key trade fairs in Dubai.
Bringing expertise in real estate-driven trade growth, large-scale venue management, and investment attraction, Diego will share insights on how trade hubs can leverage commercial real estate to enhance global connectivity, drive economic impact, and integrate sustainable infrastructure for long-term success.

Pierre Mongrué joined the Paris Region Chamber of Commerce in 2021 after a 20-year career in the French Ministry of Finance and French diplomatic representations in the UK, Taiwan, Thailand, China, and Ireland. From 2010 to 2012, he served as a privy advisor to Christine Lagarde, then French Minister for Economy and Finance.
He now heads the International Department of Europe’s largest Chamber of Commerce, which also hosts the World Trade Center Paris Île-de-France, supporting businesses in their international expansion.
